Since then she has reported from South Korea, Philippines, Haiti, Japan, the US and Lebanon. For 4 years she worked as an assignment editor for Pacifica Radios Free Speech Radio News. A daily national and international radio news program. Simbas work has been published in Rolling Stone and Sowar Magazine. As a camera operator she has worked for Emmy award winning actor Tim Robbins, PBS In the Life, Sundance and independent filmmaker Jon Alpert. Currently she is working on photo essays documenting homeless and displaced people around the world and domestic workers in Lebanon.
As a student of the martial arts Simba believes it's important to appreciate your life and train hard everyday to develop better character and purpose, which is why she has dedicated her life to documenting social issues.
